209

One early morning in September of 2019, as I exited from my bed for devotion time, I heard the words “209, 209, 209.” The voice was a man’s voice and gentle. It seemed external and resonated through my ears. I had read several books at this point about hearing God’s voice and really wasn’t sure what to expect.

After my devotion time, I pondered what that meant. Bible verse? No, I would be there all day trying to find all the chapter 20 verse 9’s, and chapter 2 verse 9’s. One revelation turned out to be a verse…it was just not the first clue on the treasure hunt. My mind wondered all day about this number God had spoken to me.

I came home around dinner time and asked my wife what she thought. She offered the same things I had thought about in the Bible. I attempted to shake the words off of me. However, it was such an extraordinary encounter at that point in my journey, it seemed to be permanently pressed into my very being. After this encounter, I’m certain some of those “bad taco” experiences might just be heavenly encounters.

At bed time, I read my son a story out of his Action Bible. It was a comic book story version of when Joshua split Israel up amongst the 12 tribes. After finishing the story, I went downstairs to go to bed. As I put my head on the pillow, those words “209, 209, 209” seemed to still be resonating. I turned the lamp off and contemplated.

Suddenly, I felt the urge to grab the Bible off of my night stand. I turned the light on and flipped to page 209 in this Bible. The page number was in the book of Joshua and the header on that page was “Allotment for Benjamin.” Wow!! The exact same part of the Bible I had just read to my son. I was shocked and felt a rush through my nervous system. The Lord was showing me something. I didn’t know what it meant but it sure excited me!

As my journey has progressed over the last couple years, I’ve since had further revelation from this audible word from the Lord. Benjamin was the last son of Jacob. Jacob had children from 4 different women. However, his heart always seemed to be with Rachel and his 2 sons from her. Jacob was enslaved for 14 years to earn her hand. The envy created by this favoritism towards Joseph resulted in his jealous brothers selling him into slavery. Little Benjamin became the central part of Jacob’s life. He had lost Rachel during Benjamin’s birth and assumed Joseph was dead from the deception his other sons had committed.

Rick Joyner’s book “The Harvest” brought several more revelations about the significance of Benjamin. Here are a few takeaways:

-There are parallels found in church history compared to each of the tribe’s histories. Benjamin is the last favorite son indicating the last day church.

-Bethlehem means “house of bread” which indicates the availability of spiritual food during this time. Benjamin received 5 times the portion his brothers received from Joseph at the feast in Genesis 43:34.

-The Hebrew meaning of Benjamin is “son of my right hand” which represents the authority of the last day ministry. Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father.

-The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of armies, ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ declares the Lord of armies. Haggai 2:09

-Benjamin was the only son named by his father. This indicates the authority this last-day ministry will walk in. This ministry will receive it’s authority from the father and not from their churches.

With internet access and apps such as Kindle, we indeed have unprecedented access to spiritual food.

The tribe of Benjamin was also known for their fearsome talent on the battle field. Jacob’s blessing at the end of his life to Benjamin was:

Benjamin is a ravenous wolf; In the morning he devours the prey,
And in the evening he divides the spoil. Genesis 49:27

They were known for their prowess on the battlefield as archers, swordsmen, and ability to sling stones. They fought ambidextrous, indicating their ability to throw their opponents off balance.

And the people of Benjamin mustered out of their cities on that day l26,000 men who drew the sword, besides the inhabitants of Gibeah, who mustered 700 chosen men. Among all these were 700 chosen men who were nleft-handed; every one could sling a stone at a hair and not miss. Judges 20:15-16

And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers, and had many sons, and sons’ sons, an hundred and fifty. All these are of the sons of Benjamin. 1 Chronicles 8:40

King Saul was from the tribe of Benjamin. Despite his poor reputation for being left to a reprobate mind later in life, his early days were filled with military conquests.

Saul of Tarsus was also from the the tribe of Benjamin. His accurate scripture knowledge and zeal as the least of all the apostles is legendary.

This word the Lord blessed me with indicates our last day tribe is being built. They will walk in unparalleled authority direct from the Father, knowledge of His word, unrivaled talent, and extraordinary accuracy. Finally, with a wolf like prowess, as warriors for the kingdom, they will bring in a harvest to divide up amongst the church. They are heaven’s Delta Force.

Pray for obedience, resources and the fulfillment of this word from the Lord.

Bill Britton of Springfield Missouri, wrote extensively about the tribe of Benjamin, as a type of the end-time overcomer company of manifested sons.
